NOVA SCOTIA COLLEGE OF AUDIOLOGISTS
AND SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGISTS

Addressing a Concern

NSCASLP is responsible to accept complaints regarding the conduct or practice of its registrants, and former registrants. The College will investigate all complaints of alleged instances of “professional misconduct, conduct unbecoming the profession, incompetence or incapacity”. However, not all matters of concern related to the care offered by a professional or their conduct will necessarily be a matter of formal investigation.

If you are concerned about the practice or conduct of an audiologist or speech–language pathologist, but are unsure whether you wish to file a formal complaint, please email the Registrar at registrar@nscaslp.ca.  Discussion with the Registrar will assist you in determining whether or not you wish to proceed with a formal complaint, or whether there may be an alternate path to resolving the matter.
